Below will help you navigate our unidentified files, from our oldest case in 1974 to our most recent. The following unidentified cases are listed in an effort to aid identification efforts. Some cases consist of circumstances in which human remains were found but the individual has not been identified, while other cases seek to identify a criminal offender with the aid of a suspect composite.

PBSO Case # 18-080935

We are seeking help from the community in an effort to identify a young infant found Friday, 06/01/2018 on the ocean side of the Boynton Beach Inlet.

Around 1:20 pm an off duty Boynton Beach Firefighter was boating on the ocean side of the Boynton Beach Inlet when he saw what appeared to be a body floating. A closer look confirmed it was the body of a female infant. She was no more than 14 days old.

This child has still not been identified. She may have been born in Fort Lauderdale or Miami.  If you have any information at all please contact Crime Stoppers.

Body found in Belle Glade canal

PBSO Case # 18-030327

A young Hispanic male was found deceased in a Belle Glade canal on 01/24/2018. This individual had unique tattoos – a spade with a skull on the back of his right hand, the name “Jackie” on his left hand and “Joanna” on his left arm. He remains unidentified. Anyone with information is urged to contact crime stoppers.

PBSO Case # 15-107967

Does he look familiar? PBSO’s Forensic Imaging Investigators reconstructed the skull of the male whose remains were found, on August 11th, 2015, at the edge of a cane field approximately 2 miles NE of Hooker Highway and State Rd 715.

Detectives are seeking the community’s help to identify this male. It is believed he is white, possibly Hispanic, approximately 40 – 70 years of age and 5′ 02″ – 5′ 09″, he was edentulous (no teeth) – no dentures were located. White Female found near Singer Island - June 16, 1974

PBSO Case # 74-16281

White Female, approximately 14-25 years old

ID Info: White female, approx. 14-25 years old, approx. 5′ tall, 103 Ibs, possibly had strawberry blonde colored hair. A black pullover sweater with grey long sleeves and a gray waist band were found at the scene, along with approx. size 5 yellow panties and blue denim material. 

Circumstances: On 06/16/74, the skeletal remains of this white female were found in a wooded mangrove area near burnt bridge by singer island in North Palm Beach.

White, poss. Hispanic or Native American Male found in 1976

PBSO Case # 76-059221

Male, approximately 21-35 years old 

ID Info: White male, approx. 21-35 years old, approx. 5’5″ – 5’8″ tall, approx. 180 Ib., Decedent was of a very muscular build and had Native American traits. Unique Timex watch with initials “LJ” inscribed. Levi belt, Dan post boots size 10-1/2.  

Circumstances: On 10/26/1976, the skeletal remains of an unknown white male were found in Palm Beach County.

 

White or Hispanic Male found in C-51 Canal with 2 other bodies

PBSO Case # 82-069933

Hispanic male, approximately 25-40 years old

ID Info: White or Hispanic Male, approx. 25-40, 5’11”, 150 Ibs, Brown hair. Clothing on body – “Marc Phillipe” Designer Blue Jeans size 33, gym shorts size 36-38 and Fruit of the Loom underwear size 34-36.

Circumstances: On 07/14/1982, three bodies were found bound in plastic bags in the C-51 drainage canal. Of the bodies located, two were Hispanic males – one with  tattoos- and the other was a Hispanic female wearing a camel cigarette shirt.

 

White Male found in Lake Park, WPB on Nov. 25th, 1983

 PBSO Case # 83-110349

White Male, approximate age is 25 – 35 years old.

ID Info: Long brown hair, untrimmed brown beard and mustache. Clothing on the body- Black trousers, a Black belt and black loafers.

Circumstances: This man was found at 2423 Waterside Circle, Lake Park, FL. floating in a canal behind address.

 PBSO Case # 87-206229

White Female, approximate age is 20 – 40 years old.

ID Info: Victim was a white female, 5’1″ – 5’6″ tall and weighed 90-130 pounds. No clothing or jewelry were found on or near the body. Victims hair had a tinge of gray. She was short with a small frame.

Circumstances: Skeletal remains of the unidentified white female were located at 130th Ave., north of Orange Blvd. in Royal Beach, FL. The victim had extensive dental work and dental records are available.  WATCH NEWS CLIP!

 

White Male found in Jupiter, Jan. 31, 1988

PBSO Case # 88- 035249 

White male, approximate age  is 40 – 55 years old

ID Info: White male, 5’5″ – 5’8″ tall, weighed 150-200 pounds and had curly brown hair. He was discovered wearing a light colored T-shirt with “Bottle Cap Lounge and Liquor Locker, Key West” imprinted on the front, cut off blue Levi shorts, brown leather belt and black Converse low tops, size 7. Victim was muscular and in good shape. He also had a visible knot on his right collar bone as well as a knot on his right shoulder blade, perhaps from carrying heavy loads on that shoulder and could be caused by his line of work.

Circumstances: On 1/31/88, the skeletal remains of this white male were found 1.6 miles north of the Indiantown Road exit of I-95 in Jupiter, FL. Deceased was possibly the victim of two .22 caliber gun shots.

White Male found in Ocala, FL. Nov. 18, 1990

FHP Case # 790-14-56

White male, approx. 20 – 50 YOA, long brown hair, hazel eyes

ID Info: White male, 6’5″, 152 Ibs., long brown hair, hazel eyes, slight beard and mustache, he was wearing tan jeans, 3 sweatshirts, white tennis shoes and two blue jackets.

Circumstances: Victim appears to have been struck by a motor vehicle in Marion County Ocala.

Caucasian female, approx. 20-40 years old, found in Boynton Canal near 441.

PBSO Case # 99-075805

ID Info: White female, approx. 20-40 yoa. Black spandex shorts or pants and white Nike size 7 shoes were found. 

Circumstances: The deceased was found skeletal in a Canal, 1/2 mile south of Boynton Beach Blvd along US-441.

PBSO Case # 03-110029

ID Info: White male, ages 65-75 yoa, 6’01” light colored eyes, and red hair. He was wearing a white polo shirt with a blue stripe on the collar, khaki shorts and a back brace. He had a 12″ scar on the center of his stomach and back. To the left of the scar on his stomach was another 3″ scar. He had a 12″ scar on his left shoulder blade, a 1″ scar on his neck, a 9″ scar on his abdomen and a 6″ scar on his lumbar region. This man also had a tattoo on his forearm, possibly of an anchor.

Circumstances: The deceased was found floating in the Boynton Beach inlet on Sept. 7th, 2003. He remains unidentified.

Caucasian Female, 60+ yoa, found in West Palm Beach on April 18, 2005.

PBSO Case # 05-056017

White Female, approximate age of 60+. South-eastern European decent, thin gray hair.

ID Info: White female, approx. 5′ tall, estimated 50- 60+ yoa, possibly heavyset. Her hair was gray, straight, thin and approx 8″ in length. Genealogy tests suggest that she was of South Eastern European decent (such as Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Croatia or Serbia). She had a healed surgical scar and one breast removed suggesting she may have been treated for breast cancer.

Circumstances: Remains were located on a dirt road west of US 27 in West Palm Beach, FL. on April 18, 2005.

 

White or Hispanic Female found May 17, 1991

PBSO Case # 14-073357 

ID Info: White or Hispanic Female, age 25 to 45, 5’05”, 123 lbs., brown eyes, Light brown non-curly hair, with a vertical 3 1/2″ long surgical scar on right lower abdomen. Has a removable chrome-cobalt-acrylic partial mandibular prosthesis. Dental records are on file and information has been entered into NCIC. 

Circumstances: Remains were retrieved by US Coast Guard (Case# 326-91) on May 17, 1991. Cause of death was drowning

North Carolina Unidentified

Black Female found in Cumberland County, North Carolina in 1977

MEO Case # 77-474

ID Info: Black Female, 32-37 YOA, greater than shoulder length black hair, found in a shallow grave in a wooded area of Cumberland County.

Suspect Composites

PBSO searching for man who attempted to abduct a 14 year old girl.

PBSO Case # 18-109069

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office released a sketch of a man who allegedly tried to kidnap a 14-year-old girl. According to deputies, the incident happened on Pineaire Lane towards Haverhill Road. The teen noticed a white van stop behind her, and she saw the door open and an unknown male approach her. The man tried to pull her into the van, but the girl was able to escape.
